About Us

The Job Seekers Guide is produced by JVS New Jersey and iSeek Solutions as part of a national collaboration of the International Association of Jewish Vocational Services, with funding provided through the U.S. Department of Labor.

About JVS MetroWest
JVS is a nonprofit, community-based health and human service organization, annually delivering a wide
array of personalized services on a nonsectarian basis to nearly 18,000 individuals age 14 to 100+
throughout New Jersey and business-to-business services to hundreds of companies across the State.
The Mission of JVS is to use its special skills, knowledge and training to help its clients become
economically self-reliant, productive citizens, earning their own living in constructive careers. To
recognize that at any level of performance capability human beings deserve the opportunity to be useful
and share in the dignity of work.
JVS's highest priorities are the individuals who need its help the most:

  • the unemployed family wage earner
  • the physically and mentally disabled
  • the newly arrived immigrant
  • the aging worker
  • the single parent
  • the dislocated downsized employee
  • the unskilled and educationally disadvantaged
  • the next working generation
